The 2013 NFL season has finally started and the first Sunday Night Football game was the Dallas Cowboys hosting the New York Giants. All in all the game was actually quite sloppy. The Giants ended up turning the ball over to the Cowboys a whopping six times; three of those turnovers came in the first quarter of the game.
The Cowboys only ended up walking away with a field goal off those three turnovers. The Cowboys turned the ball over only once for the Giants which occurred in the first quarter. Tony Romo and Terrance Williams were not on the same page on the play and the ball ended up bouncing off Prince Amukamara and into the hands of Ryan Mundy who returned the ball all the way to the Cowboys one yard line before being tackled by DeMarco Murray.
The game was sealed with a Brandon Carr interception that he returned 49 yards for a touchdown, in the fourth quarter. Eli Manning and the Giants went on to score on their next drive, but were not enough to beat the Cowboys. The NFC East is up for grabs this season as we saw Monday night as the Philadelphia Eagles held on to win the Washington Redskins.
