NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday the Tennessee Titans announced they have agreed to terms with former Denver Broncos defensive end Shaun Phillips. The contract is for two-years and is worth up to $6 million,  the deal includes $2.5 million in guaranteed money per Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.

Phillips, who will be turning 33 in May, was the best available pass rusher and they got him. He's totaled 19.5 sacks over the last two seasons making the transition from outside linebacker in San Diego to defensive end in Denver.

Sources close to the Titans organization expect Phillips to work in a rotation with Akeem Ayers and Derrick Morgan. With a rotation like that the defense looks much improved and hope to compete in the AFC South.
