The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced a two year deal with former Saints wide receiver Lance Moore. A much needed addition after losing Emmanuel Sanders and Jerricho Cotchery.
Last year with the Saints, Moore caught a pedestrian 37 balls on 54 targets for only 457 yards. A major drop from 2012 when he caught 65 balls for over 1,000 yards.
Lance Moore should fill in nicely with Steelers as a third option for Big Ben, replacing the departed Cotchery. Who was signed by the Panthers on a two year deal, worth five million.
The Steelers still need to add depth to their receiving core, but the 5’9” Moore is most definitely a good start.
