Falcons Collect Prize In Free Agency: Sign RB Steven Jackson To 3 Year Deal
It did not take too long for the Atlanta Falcons to replace long-time running Michael Turner, as they have agreed to a three year deal with Steven Jackson, formerly of the St. Louis Rams. While Turner seemed to be running on fumes last season, Jackson proved that when healthy, he can still carry the load and will not only give the Falcons the production of Turner, but even more. The 29 year old Jackson can still get the job done and his bruising style will go very well with third year change-of-pace back, Jacquizz Rodgers and they will make for a dynamic running back duo.
This is a fantastic move for the Falcons as they continue to go after their ever elusive Super Bowl appearance. The team now has effective running back to go with their excellent passing attack being that Atlanta is already an elite offense. This coming season expect the offense to look even more scary to defenses around the NFL
This is one of the best moves any team has made so far in NFL free agency.
