Dion Jordan indicated earlier this week that he will be there for the start of camp. Saturday we learnd that this is true. The Miami Dolphins announced their rookie, Jordan would be under contract for the start of camp.
With their number three pick signing, Miami now has all nine 2013 draft picks under contract with camp underway.
NFL.com’s Albert Breer reported Dion will receive $20,572,298 over four years, a signing bonus of $13,341,972 that will be paid over the next four months and a guaranteed roster bonus of $5,070,626.
As Ryan Tannehill did last summer, Dion Jordan held out with the confrontation of offset language, which allows the team to receive money if Jordan is to be cut.
Jordan was supose to make his training-camp debut this week. But according to reports he will be sitting out the start of training camp because his surgically repaired right shoulder has not fully healed. At this time he has been placed on the non-football injury list.
