Cowboys Anchor Offensive Line By Drafting Wisconsin Center Frederick
With the 31st overall pick the Dallas Cowboys selected center Travis Frederick out of Wisconsin
Most NFL experts perceived Dallas would go with the best offensive tackle on the board, and instead went with the converted center, Frederick.
A stretch as a first-round pick, but Frederick is rated as the top center in this year's draft class, and was only going to be a first-round pick by a team looking for a center, which Dallas is.
Frederick will immediately step in and will provide some stability for a team that used six different centers during the 2012 season.
