Bowling Green senior defense tackle Chris Jones on the rise.

Chris Jones had 2.5 sacks each and Jones returned a fumble for a touchdown as Bowling Green smothered Eastern Michigan 24-3 Saturday. He now is tied as the nation leading sack master with 11.5 sacks.

Jones is a senior defensive tackle whose stock on the rise and moving up on the draft boards. In the beginning of the year he was rated as the 15th best defensive tackle prospect now looks to go in the early rounds of the NFL draft.

Jones already has been named three times this season the MAC East division defensive player of the week.
His best game came in a win over Miami, OH when the Falcons won 37-13. Jones had five tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks.

Statistically, Jones may be the most decorated and consistent interior pass rusher in the nation. The senior's motor never stops, and granting many of his sacks aren't any icing on the cake, Jones continues to pursue and battle
until the quarterback is on the ground.
